Even Construction has been operating in Oregon for the past ten years, specializing in building Floating Homes, but also handling other construction projects. Marc Even, the Owner of Even Construction, is a veteran of the construction business and has multiple years of experience to help build the home you envision.

Marc Even has been in the construction business for the past 25 years and has worked a variety of large commercial projects, small business, government commercial, and all types of residential properties. The scope of projects ranges from new homes, custom homes, and large and small custom remodeling, for both commercial and private properties. Even Construction has done business from the coastal cities of Oregon, to the greater Portland area, to Southern Washington. Even Construction’s work includes establishing itself as the area leader in the construction of the highest quality floating home properties. The value of these custom homes ranges from the low $100,000's to well beyond $1,000,000 in final assessed evaluation. Even Construction prides itself in being a reliable and responsible operation that excels in extraordinary customer service and satisfaction. Even Construction carries an impeccable reputation for service as well as the many competent sub contractors used that meet very high standards. Many of Even Construction’s immediate team of employees have been with Marc for years and carry the same performance history and reputation established by the company. Even Construction is fully licensed, insured and experienced in working with every individual desire of the customer. Growing up with a father as a Residential Building Contractor, Marc Even got his first taste of the construction industry at an early age. Years later, he graduated high school in 1976, followed by a year of college, while obtaining work experience in rough framing and finish carpentry. He was a General Contractor in Southern California from 1982-1995 in Residential and Commercial construction. From 1985-1991, he served as a Foreman for a commercial contracting company, EB&H Construction, specializing in tenant improvements, remodeling and land development. Marc moved to Portland, Oregon in 1996 and started building Floating Homes in 1997. Presently, Marc employs seven full time employees, all who have been with the company for more than four years. Marc’s lead man, Laevon Hansen, is accomplished Carpenter and has exceptional leadership skills. Steve Tanke, who also is a valuable asset and worked with Marc’s father, has been with Marc for 25 years. Between the two men, they bring over 50 years of experience in the building trades. Our success has been based on one thing: Customer Service. Even Construction takes care of their customers, not just during construction but long after the home is built. Their philosophy is that if there is a problem, they will fix it. Available seven days a week, Even Construction is here to take care of you.
